Jeff West – Director of Environmental Affairs, Commercial Division Shaw Industries Group, Inc.
Jeff West is the director of environmental affairs for the commercial division of Shaw Industries Group, Inc. As director, Jeff manages relationships with key external environmental opinion leaders and has a deep understanding of issues related to the commercial market. His knowledge of the commercial market is a key asset as Shaw continues to evolve its environmental positions and initiatives across the entire company. Jeff also represents the commercial marketing organization on the Innovation Platform Team.

In his 19 years with Shaw, Jeff has served in a wide variety of roles, both in production and marketing. As a quality engineer and manufacturing manager, Jeff oversaw the quality and production of two Shaw facilities. While a plant manager, he supervised the commercial custom development, NSP group, design team and customer service departments. Most recently, Jeff was the vice president of marketing for Shaw Contract Group, Shaw’s largest commercial brand. In this role, he managed product direction and marketing tools for the institutional markets, resulting in consistent sales growth at 10 percent annually during his tenure.

Jeff graduated from the University of Georgia. He resides in Cartersville, Georgia with his wife and three sons. Jeff enjoys team sports and coaches his sons in soccer, basketball and baseball. He serves as a deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
