 Artisjok consists of nine third year students of the Academy of Visual Arts in Maastricht, at the Institute for Higher Vocational Education, Hogeschool Zuyd. It is a young company which was founded as part of the students’ education. Inspired by Michael Braungart’s and William McDonnough’s ideas they got to work on the Cradle to Cradle concept and have designed 100% biodegradable furniture, called Mizfit. This group of young people was assisted by companies from Limburg such as Biopearls and DSM, which were inspired by their enthusiasm and unlimited stream of ideas.
