Education and the corporate domain are primarily aimed at specialization. However, solving most pressing ecological problems calls for an integral approach. Systems thinking is an integral way of thinking, requiring a helicopter view regarding various disciplines. Systems thinking, also called the Fifth discipline, is of overriding importance in a society endeavouring to make itself sustainable. How to implement this way of thinking in our society? Through interactively formatted concrete examples, the participants are brought into contact with this way of thinking. They are challenged to translate this way of thinking into their own professional domain. This workshop will be hosted by Jolanda Kleyn, deputy director in the educational domain.
