Green in the city! Integral part of the C2C concept is that ecosystems are integrated in man-made environments. Using green roofs is an example of this. These ecosystems produce oxygen, sequester carbon (C02), fix nitrogen, distil water, optimize drainage, purify the air and filter particles. Economic advantages are thus evident. Besides this it creates habitat and bio diversity, colour in cities as well as a seasonal liveliness. Presentation by ‘Bauder Grundach’ and ‘Roof&Garden’.
