The field of industrial ecology focuses on finding innovative solutions for complex environmental problems. Nature is used as a source of inspiration in the development of integrated and efficient industrial processes. Real world examples will be used to illustrate how creatively organisations integrate ‘eco’ in their processes. For example, residual products from one organisation can be used as raw materials in another organisation.
